How often should I get massaged?

This is my most asked question... I strongly suggest thinking of massage as apart of your healthcare. I suggest every 4-6 weeks  to keep consistent care. 

I feel self-conscious about about my body...

We all have insecurities about ourselves, I am no different. I however am no judge, and I will accept you as you are! 

Do I have to tip?

Absolutely not! One of the many benefits of owning my own studio is I do not have to give a cut to someone. Tips are always appreciated, but never expected. 

Should I just go home and take a nap after my session?

This is something I might disagree with from other LMTs. I am a big believer in motion is lotion, and if you just go home and sleep then it can not allow blood to flow effectively and it can make you more sore the next day.

Do I get completely naked...?

That is completely your call! When I get a massage, I usually dress down to just my underwear, but what ever you are comfortable with I am okay with. My draping style will make sure you will never be exposed. 

Is it okay to ask for more pressure?

Of course! I am not a big believer in "no pain, no gain", but I have been told I have a heavy hand. I try my best to give what your body is telling me, but I will meet you half way and go deeper or lighter based on your feedback.

is it normal to feel sore after a massage session?

Yes, especially if what your situation is required a deeper pressure, you will be sore. I would highly suggest moving your body after a massage, and making sure you are consuming a lot of water.

Is it okay to talk during the session?

I have some clients that we talk the entire time, and I have others that fall asleep the entire time. I will not lie, I am a very chatty and outgoing person, but I will let you lead the conversation. If you talk, I will talk back. If you are quiet, I will be as well.
